Welcome to Nature + Nurture!
I look forward to coming alongside you on your journey towards a more fulfilled, purposeful and holistically healthy life.
I created Nature + Nurture to provide support for families in the state of Montana who are navigating the trials of new life and new loss. These seasons of life are some of our most vulnerable, and I am passionate about providing the supportive care that these families deserve through counseling, nourishment, education, and community.
I specialize in perinatal mental health and grief therapy but see a wide array of clients navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, difficult life transitions and more. I use a combination of trauma informed and evidence based modalities including somatic experiencing (SE), humanistic psychology, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and existential psychology. My approach is empowering, nurturing, and compassionate as well as humorous at times.
I graduated with my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University in Dayton Ohio in 2021 with an additional trauma counseling certification for working with crisis, PTSD, and mental health trauma care. My undergraduate degree, and previous career, was in performing arts which brings well rounded experience to my counseling practice.
More personally, I met my husband working on a guest ranch in Augusta, Montana in 2016. After traveling and living all over the country, we decided that Helena, Montana was where we wanted to plant our roots and base our family. I have a daughter and know myself how wild it is to navigate motherhood! When I am not working, you can find me playing music, volunteering with postpartum support international, traveling, and gardening (for the short window of time Montana will let me).
